Lochhournhead B&B, Self Catering & Tea Rooms

A shelter from the frenzy of everyday life

We have reluctantly decided to close the B&B and Old Cottage accommodation for the 2020 season due to COVID-19 uncertainties. We look forward with optimism to 2021 and hope to see you then.

With our best wishes

John & Harriet

We offer both overnight and day trip parking at Lochhournhead. At present we are operating an honesty box system and the car park is checked regularly.

Overnight Carpark – next door to the Green Shed

£2 per night – please fill in ticket detailing how many nights you plan to be away.  This should be clearly displayed and it helps us in emergencies.

Day Trip Car Park – further down – £1 per visit

Welcome to Lochhournhead Farm

We very much look forward to welcoming you to Lochhournhead, Kinlochourn – a wonderful place for you to unwind, relax and explore the stunning scenery and wilderness of Knoydart from the warm, comfortable and homely base we have created.

The properties were modernised in 2017 to create a home away from home. The location suits those with a sense of adventure and love of the great outdoors. Lochhournhead, Kinlochourn is ideally located for those wishing to climb the many Munros and Corbetts or explore the diversity of Loch Hourn, arguably one of Scotland’s most fjord-like sea lochs. The limit is your imagination and ambition.

We are lucky enough to have Tony Hinde back this year to manage the B&B and Tea Room, of course with the help of Woodstock!
